SHINee’s Taemin to hold a live broadcast to celebrate the release of his new album ‘Guilty’

On the day of the release of his mini-album, ‘Guilty,’ SHINee’s TAEMIN set to take to social media and WeVerse for ‘TAEMIN ‘Guilty’ Countdown Live’ streaming event

SM Entertainment has announced that on the day of the release of his album, ‘Guilty,’ SHINEE member Taemin will be holding a live broadcast to celebrate the occasion. As per SM Entertainment’s press centre, Taemin will be holding the event across a range of social media networks and on both the Weverse SHINee channel and Idol Plus.

“In this broadcast, Taemin not only previews the new songs included in the fourth mini album 'Guilty' and reveals the behind-the-scenes work and episodes, but also actively communicates with global fans through various corners such as comeback activity spoilers and a look back on this busy year,’ the agency has revealed.

“In addition, Taemin is expected to receive a lot of interest as he will have a pleasant time reading the 'guilty comments' sent by fans in line with the meaning of the new song's title 'Guilty' and judging whether he is guilty or not guilty.”

Taemin has already helped stir up more interest in his comeback album having released a new teaser trailer for the mini-album’s title track on the SMTOWN YouTube Channel overnight. The MV for ‘Guilty’ showcases the deep 808 beat selection within the song - it would seem that the use of 808 style beats is becoming the production-style du jour for a number of K-Pop soloists as of late (see: BTS’ V, RIIZE’s newest works.)

When is the ‘TAEMIN 'Guilty' Countdown Live’ stream taking place?

The live broadcast of ‘TAEMIN ‘Guilty’ Countdown Live’ is scheduled to take place from 5 PM (KST) on October 30 2023.
