Taylor Swift: What time is New Heights podcast episode available? How to watch as The Life Of A Showgirl revealed on Travis Kelce's show
Swifties are in a tizzy after their musical hero Taylor Swift announced a surprise album with the help of her boyfriend.
The Fortnight singer sent fans wild after a promo clip from an upcoming appearance on the New Heights podcast was posted online, showing Taylor revealing TS12 and its title - The Life Of A Showgirl. The podcast is hosted by Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, with the new episode marking the first time Taylor has ever appeared on the show.
Fans were left stunned by the surprise appearance on the show. Underneath the promo post, one faan said on X (formerly Twitter): “Announced it on the podcast… what a world we live in.” Another excited fan added: “All the Swifties just screamed all at once around the world! The Life of a Showgirl!!!”
With such a huge announcement, Swifties will be keen to tune in as soon as the episode is available, with the singer set to divulge even more information about the mysterious new album project. In the promo clip in which the title was revealed, Taylor, who has been dating Travis since mid 2023, can be seen pulling a vinyl from a case with the album artwork blurred.
It’s likely that Taylor will reveal the album artwork, alongside possibly a release date and maybe even a tracklist during her appearance on the show. Here’s how you can tune in to not miss a moment of the exciting news.
How to watch New Heights podcast
The New Heights podcast is available to watch or listen to on the Wondery app, on the New Heights YouTube channel, or anywhere else you normally get your podcasts.
The episode with Taylor Swift and her huge TS12 album announcement will go live from 7pm ET on Wednesday, August 13. For UK Swifies, this means that the episode will be available from 12am BST on Thursday, August 14.
Rumours have already been flying over The Life Of A Showgirl. Orange appears to be the colour of the era, with Jason Kelce also making reference to a “mint green” in the promo video, which might give fans a bit of a clue as to the vibe of the artwork.
There are also rumours flying over the new songs themselves. Some fans think that there may be an upcoming collaboration with fellow chart-topper Sabrina Carpenter, with a cryptic date appearing to be added to the front page of Sabrina’s own website.
The Life Of A Showgirl doesn’t have a release date yet, but we may find this out when the full New Heights episode releases later this week. The album will be Taylor’s 12th studio release, and following The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April 2024.
