Why don't I have a Spotify Wrapped? Users complain it is 'not working' - how to fix and see your listening figures

Spotify Wrapped dropped yesterday (Wednesday 3 December) after much anticipation. The annual event gives listeners a summary of their listening habits over the last year.

The service allows people to look back at the artists and podcasts they consumed the most in 2025. Anyone with a Spotify account - even a free one - can access their stats directly from the Spotify app.

On the landing page, the company advises users to update their app to the most recent version to ensure the best experience. Once you're in, Spotify will present a carousel of slides, with insights into your favourite songs, top genres and most-played podcasts.

However, some users have complained that it is not working. One user said on X: “I went through all the trouble of a new update so my spotify wrapped would work. It’s still not working.”

Another user added: “At least I’m not alone in my Spotify wrapped not working”. A third commented: “Spotify wrapped not working for me. I love today”.

Update the Spotify app

The first thing to check if your Wrapped 2025 isn’t appearing is if your app is fully up to date. Unless you are running the most recent version of the Spotify app on your phone you will be unable to view the data story which breaks down all of your listening data.

Log out and back in

If your app is all updated but you’re still having issues, there’s always the classic log out and back in again, which could help resolve some issues.

Clear your cache

1. Tap your profile picture at the top.
2. Tap Settings and privacy Settings.
3. Tap Data-saving and offline.
4. Under Storage, tap Clear next to Clear cache.

Uninstall and reinstall Spotify

If you have tried all of the above steps and had no luck, you can always try deleting and then reinstalling Spotify on your mobile device.

If you are unable to find Spotify Wrapped on the app, you can head to the Wrapped section of Spotify’s website. Typically if you are viewing this on a desktop, some features - such as last year’s AI podcast - will be limited, with just the simple data stories available.
