He has adamantly denied the claims adding that is is “not difficult to question the timing” of the claims.

The 67-year-old has recently returned to screens in HBO Max’s ‘And Just Like That...’ - a continuation of the Sex and The City story - however his return to screen didn’t long after Big was killed off in the first episode after taking part in a Peloton class.

What did Chris Noth allegedly do?

Two women shared their alleged experience with Noth, 67, with The Hollywood Reporter under pseudonyms.

One of the women, 40-year-old ‘Zoe’, claimed that she was assaulted by Noth while working at a top LA business which included high-profile celebrities as frequent clients in 2004.

The alleged incident took place while Zoe was 22-years-old.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she said: ““He would walk by my desk and flirt with me. He somehow got my number from the directory and was leaving messages on my work phone. My boss was like, ‘Mr. Big’s leaving messages on your voicemail.’

She then visited Noth in West Hollywood after finding out that he resided in the same building as her friend and met him in the pool area of the complex.

After returning a possession of Noth to his apartment door, Zoe claims that he kissed her and after telling the actor that she was returning to her friend, pulled her into his home and raped her.

Zoe was taken to hospital following the alleged incident, where she told police officers and hospital staff that she had been sexually assaulted but did not reveal the actor’s identity as she thought she would have been fired or the claims would not be believed.

The second allegation comes from a woman identified as ‘Lily’.

Lily, now 31, claims that Noth assaulted her in 2015, when she was 25 and working in a VIP section of a New York nightclub.

Noth asked Lily to join him for dinner, which a friend has advised her to skip as she “didn’t have a great feeling about it”. However, Lily met Noth at Il Cantinori.

After dinner, Lily claims that the pair went back to his Greenwich Village apartment where they drank whiskey, with Lily describing herself feeling increasingly drunk.

He then allegedly tried to persistently kiss Lily, and she later told friends that he had tried to “forcibly” have sex with her, but she did not go to police.

She also claimed that Noth contacted her after the incident via voicemails asking her to “keep this between you and me”.

Neither women knew each other and both made their claims to The Hollywood Reporter separately.

Noth has vehemently denied the claims from both women, stating that is is “difficult not to question the timing of these stories”.

In a statement, he said: “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.

“These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out.

“I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”
