Emma Willis: Delivering Babies first aired in October 2018 and saw the TV presenter Emma Willis join the staff at a busy maternity ward to see how demanding, and rewarding the job of a midwife really is.
After a three-year pandemic enforced break, Emma is returning to the front line of the NHS for another season of the show.

What is Emma Willis: Delivering Babies about?
A synopsis for season three reads: “Her colleagues have faced two challenging years during the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring that they provide high quality care whilst keeping everyone safe.
“Emma will need some refresher training to bring her back up to speed on her duties as an MCA and, now that her pals Val and Nagmeh have retired, she’ll have to make some new friends and show her bosses that she’s got what it takes.
“As well as working on the ward, Emma will be experiencing what it’s like to work in the community with home births, plus she’ll learn more about one of the most difficult aspects that the maternity team deal with – providing support to expectant mothers and families who lose their babies.”
Where is Emma Willis: Delivering Babies season 3 filmed?
Each series of the show, including season three was filmed at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex.

Hide AdThe NHS hospital was established in 1994 and has a staff of 3,600 serving a population of more than 250,000.
The series is filmed at the hospital’s busy maternity ward where more than 4,000 babies are delivered - more than 10 each day.


Who is Emma Willis?
Emma Willis is a Birmingham-born TV and radio presenter and former mode. She hosted Cooking with the Stars earlier this year, and her other presenting credits include Big Brother and its spin-offs Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
She will also be recognised from shows such as Emma and AJ Get to Work, The Circle, The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C, and The Great Home Transformation.

Hide AdShe was a co-presenter on radio station Heart on Sunday mornings for six years, leaving in 2018.
She has been a host on singing competition The Voice since 2014 and is currently working on season 11 of the show.
Emma is married to the former Busted vocalist Matt Willis - the couple have three children together.
Ahead of the new season, Emma said: “I am so excited to be back. I can’t believe how long it’s been since I worked a shift with the wonderful team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital.”

Season three of Emma Willis: Delivering Babies will air at 9pm on Thursday 22 September on Channel W (Freeview channel 25).
Episodes will be released at the same time weekly - it has not yet been confirmed how many episodes will be in the new season but there were six episodes in season one and in season two.
