The show sees the former Bake Off host tour the country in search of the best escapes in some of the most remote and usual locations

As with the first series, Sandi will be joined by a host of famous pals as she take a look behind the door of some the best hidden holiday abodes the UK has to offer.

Who is on Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig?

Episode one of series two will see comedian and presenter Sarah Millican join Sandi.

Sandi will be joined by a host of funny and famous women throughout the series.

In addition to Sarah, she will be joined by The Royle Family’s Sue Johnson, Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker, comedians Sara Pascoe and Jenny Eclair and author Philippa Perry.

What parts of the UK does Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig showcase?

Episode one will see Sandi visit Devon with Sarah Millican.

Throughout the series, she will visit Cornwall with Sue Johnson, Norfolk with Sunetra Sarker and the Highlands of Scotland with Sara Pascoe.

Jenny Eclair will visit Wales with Sandi while Philippa Perry will join the host in the Highlands and Islands.

Who is on this week’s episode of Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig?

The final episode of the series will air at 9pm on Thursday 31 March.

This week, Sandi will be joined by comedian Jenny Eclair as they travel to the Wye Valley and the Malvern Hills in Wales.

The pair will visit an extraordinary home in the Brecon Beacons before enjoying some canoeing along the River Wye.

Their travels in Wales will conclude in an ancient orchard to indulge in authentic food and drink.

When is Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig on?

The first episode premieres on Thursday 17 February at 9pm on Channel 4.

There will be six episodes in the series, which will air weekly in the same time slot on Channel 4.
