BBC comedy Man Like Mobeen, which starred Guz Khan, will not return to our TV screens after its upcoming fifth and final season.

It has been on our screens for nearly a decade, but fans of BBC comedy Man Like Mobeen have been left devastated after it has been revealed that there will be no new season of the comedy. The main star and co-creator Guz Khan said: "I can't even shop at Aldi without someone popping out from behind the bread aisle and asking me when there's going to be more Man Like Mobeen.

"So, for you, and only for you, here's one, final, very last, never to be done again season of Man Like Mobeen.

Guz Khan also said: "Please don't make me make any more, I got loads of kids to raise and that."

According to The Sun, “Filming for the final season has already begun, and it's going to be set in Coventry and Turkey.

“The six new episodes are scheduled to air on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer in 2025.”

The synopsis for Man Like Mobeen on BBC iPlayer reads: “All Mobeen wants to do is follow his faith, lead a good life and keep his little sister on track. But with his dodgy past chasing him, can he stay on the right side of wrong?”

One fan took to X to share their disappointment at the show ending and said: “Man like Mobeen was one of my favourite shows,” followed by a crying face emoji.
