The Masked Singer UK will be making its return to TV screens next year with a brand new series.

The popular ITV show hosted by Joel Dommett will see a fresh batch of celebrities take to the stage in an elaborate array of costumes to sing for viewers night after night.

The show sees celebrities conceal who they are by wearing outrageous, and often bizarre, costumes, with their identity only revealed to viewers once they are eliminated.

Each week, viewers must vote for their favourite performance and the celebrity with the least number of votes is booted off.

When is season 3 out?

The Masked Singer UK will return to ITV in January 2022 for its third installment.

Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan will all be returning as the celebrity panel to try and guess the identities of this year’s disguised stars.

Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts won the first season of the show performing as Queen Bee, while Joss Stone, who dressed as Sausage, claimed victory during season two.

What are the costumes?

In true Masked Singer style, the outfits will be as outrageous as ever in the new season, with costumes including a traffic cone, a set of bagpipes and a stack of doughnuts.

The 12 new celebrity characters hoping to take the crown next include:

Presenter Joel Dommett said: “I’m so thrilled to be hosting proceedings, as we bring all the excitement and drama of the TV series live to an arena near year.

“And being in arenas means it’s going to be bigger than ever!

“I’m excited to see who the different celebrities are at every show. I don’t know their identities, so I’ll be guessing along with the arena.
