The Great British Bake Off is returning with a celebrity edition once again to raise money for Channel 4’s Stand Up to Cancer appeal.

The five-part series, which includes contestants such as Katherine Kelly and Annie Mac, will begin on Tuesday 22 March. For one episode only, Matt Lucas will compete rather than host, a replacement for a last-minute dropout.

Week 3 (Tuesday 6 April) will feature DJ Annie Mac, comedian Ed Gamble and rapper Elliot Gleave/Example, alongside host Matt Lucas who stepped in as a contestant when a celebrity had to drop out suddenly.

In week 4, Olympian Sir Mo Farah, Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse, actor Katherine Kelly and comedian Ben Miller all feature in the Bake Off tent. They make meringue roulades in the Signature challenge, tackle traditional Italian biscuits in the Technical, and try to capture their favourite childhood memory in cake form in the Showstopper.

Week 5 will see pop superstar Ellie Goulding, comedian Mawaan Rizwan, TV presenter and disability advocate Sophie Morgan and actor Tracey-Ann Oberman enter the tent. They make marble cake in the Signature, jam roly-poly in the Technical, and a biscuit portrait in honour of their own celebrity hero in the Showstopper.

Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will once again be judging, with Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas as hosts.
