Bradley Walsh and his TV clan will be returning for a festive special this Christmas.

The Larkins At Christmas will see the Darling Buds of May adaptation hit screens with a brand new episode to help fans celebrate the festive period.

But what will happen in the episode, who is in it and when will it air?

What is the plot of The Larkins At Christmas?

Pop and Ma will see Mariette and Charley return home for Christmas, just as the pair decide to take a big step in their relationship.

However, the arrival of Charley’s parents to meet The Larkins twined with a lighting and heating outage throughout the village sends the farm into chaos.

Elsewhere, residents of the village, including Miss Pilchester, the Normans and Johnny Delamere, will also become victims of a spate of burglaries.

PC Harness will do all it takes to tackle the crime, while the rest of the village looks forward to the pantomime.

Who is in the cast of The Larkins At Christmas?

Bradley Walsh returns as Pop Larkin - the head of the Larkin household, with Joanna Scanlan returning as Ma.

Talent runs in the family as Bradley’s real life son, Barney, returns to make a festive cameo as PC Harness.

Sabrina Bartlett will star as Mariette, while Tok Stephen will play love interest Charley.

Other actors included in the festive cast includes young actress Lydia Page as Primrose Larkin, Amelia Bullmore as Miss Pilchester, Robert Bathurst as Johnny Delamere.

Ex-Doctor Who actor Peter Davison will star as the Vicar and Tony Gardner returns as Pop’s nemesis Alex Norman.

Rounding out the cast is Rosie Coleman as Petunia Larkin, Davina Coleman as Zinnia Larkin, Liam Middleton as Montgomery Larkin and Lola Shepelev as Victoria Larkin.

When does The Larkins At Christmas air?

The show is due to air a feature-length special at 9pm on Christmas Day.

The episode will air on ITV1 and the ITVHub, and will be available for streaming after it airs.

The episode is due to last one hour and 25 minutes.

Will there be a second series of The Larkins?

The Larkins proved to be popular with audiences when series one premiered in October 2021.

The full first series, which comprises of six episodes, is available to watch now on the ITVHub.

Despite The Larkins being given a Christmas special, it has yet to be announced whether a second series will hit screens.
