Clarkson's Farm season 5 release date: Amazon Prime Video reveals Diddly Squat Farm’s return to screens

Amazon Prime Video has announced the release date for Clarkson's Farm season 5 - here’s when you can watch.

A new season of Clarkson’s Farm will soon be landing with the release date for Amazon Prime Video’s hit agricultural show announced. Viewers have been following the antics of Jeremy Clarkson and the team on Diddly Squat Farm for almost five years now and the fifth series is just around the corner.

Viewers can expect more calamities and hilarities as they negotiate a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, so Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly. However, while the farm tries to go high-tech - resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad - even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.

The news comes after it was revealed last year that Kaleb Cooper is to feature in a new Prime Video series exploring farming practices in Australia. The breakout star of Clarkson’s Farm is usually found in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, the show will see him journey across the globe to immerse himself in a new culture, exploring how farmers operate under different climates.

The new four-part series, which has the working title Kaleb: Down Under, follows the farming contractor as he embarks on a trip to one of the world’s biggest farming markets. Cooper, 27, said: “I spend most of my time with the most travelled man in the world, so I got brave and booked my first-ever flight to see what all the fuss was about. Australia, here I come!”

And it’s been an exciting year for Jeremy away from the farm too as his racehorse The Hawkstonian won for the first time at Ffos Las in January. The Ben Pauling-trained grey is named after Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery and the TV presenter is part of the owning syndicate set up by Old Gold Racing.

The Hawkstonian had been unsuccessful in five previous starts but ridden by Ben Jones in the tigerbet.co.uk Best Odds Guaranteed Novices’ Hurdle, he prevailed in a tight finish at odds of 13-2. In a post on X, Clarkson said: “Hawkstonians. I’m receiving word that our horse triumphed today at the Blue Ditch course in Wales. I’m going to celebrate with a beer.”

Jones hopes the victory may warrant a free meal in Clarkson’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog. He told Sky Sports Racing: “Honestly, if you saw him at home – he’s an absolute rocket. He’s gone to the track and disappointed us a little bit, I think it’s just taken a while for the penny to drop.

“He had a tongue strap on for the first time today which has played to his favour and I think that wet, sloppy ground where you can get through it meant he hit the line strong, which he hasn’t been doing until today. He’s still a bit green but what I liked was when the other came upsides him, he put his head down and battled on. I might get a free meal in the pub now!”

For anyone who has yet to get up to speed with the happenings on Diddly Squat Farm, viewers can catch up with all the previous series of Clarkson’s Farm before Season 5 debuts, on Prime Video.
