Baby food recall: "Possible presence of mould" in Glenisk Organic Baby Fromage Frais - warning issued by Food Standards Agency
The FSA has issued an urgent baby food recall over the "possible presence of mould" - what to do if you have bought any of the affected products.
Families are being urged not to let children consume several baby foods - as they may contain "mould which makes them unfit for human consumption".
Manufacturer Glenisk is recalling several Organic Baby Fromage Frais products due to the "possible presence of mould", according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA). "If you have bought the above products, do not eat them. Instead, dispose of them and contact Glenisk," the FSA said.
"Glenisk is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products and on their website. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products."

The affected products being recalled are:
- Organic Baby Fromage Frais mango with apple, banana & oats, 4x60g, use by 28.05.2026
- Organic Baby Fromage Frais strawberry with banana, vanilla & oats, 4x60g, use by 28.05.2026
- Organic Baby Fromage Frais apple, pear, carrot with oats, 4x60g, use by 28.05.2026
Glenisk, in a warning to customers, said: "We kindly ask consumers to discard affected products. Retailers have been advised to remove affected batches from sale.
"If you have purchased one of the affected products, please contact us at [email protected] and our team will be happy to arrange a replacement."
