The Dirty Vegan Nuggets will launch across the UK on Tuesday 1 November and will be served until Sunday 6 November.

The limited edition item includes a portion of nine nuggets, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, topped with crispy onions and is available to buy via the Burger King app.

The vegan nuggets are made in collaboration with The Vegetarian Butcher, which focuses on "plant gastronomy, meat analogues with taste, structure and looks of the real thing".

It is headed up by Jaap Korteweg who won Dutch Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015 and has gone on to supply major supermarket chains including Tesco, Morrisons and Ocado.
