Snapchat has stopped working for thousands of users in the UK and across the world.
The app is preventing users from accessing the app or sending snaps today (13 October 2021).

Snapchat users flooded Twitter to see if others were experiencing the same problems using the app.
One said: “Typing ‘Snapchat down’ in the Twitter search bar to confirm it’s not your wifi that’s playing up but snap is just down, AGAIN”
Another commented: “Is Snapchat not working for everyone or is it just me?”

Hide AdSnapchat support were quick to acknowledge there was a problem with the app and responded on Twitter.
What has Snapchat said?
The news many users didn't want to hear was confirmed by Snapchat Support on Twitter.
A post read: "We’re aware that some Snapchatters are having issues using the app right now - hang tight, we’re looking into it!"
It comes just a week after Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all went down for hours on end in a major outage.

While alleged financial payments made to Twitch users was published on a messaging board towards the end of last week.
