If you aren't one of those searching how to cancel Netflix, then maybe you could watch the first season of FUBAR

I mean Arnold Schwarzenegger did promise audiences when he starred in The Terminator series that he will be back, and return he has, in 2023.

The Austrian-American actor not only stars in a new Netflix series called FUBAR, in which he plays a larger than life ‘C.I.A operative on the edge of retirement who discovers a family secret and is called back into the field for one last job’ alongside Top Gun Maverick’s Monica Barbaro, but also announced his own documentary on the streaming giant called ‘Arnold’.

The latter production delves deep into the life of the bodybuilder who has turned his hand to being a model, businessman and politician, serving as the governor of California between 2003 and 2011. Could we say watch out 2024 presidential hopefuls Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump?

Just like the concept of acting, Arnie’s life seems to have many roles at play, which must tee him up for quite the fortune…in light of FUBAR dropping on Netflix (at a time where people are questioning their subscription due to the streaming service’s password sharing plans) PeopleWorld takes a look at Arnold’s net worth.

What is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s net worth?

Arnold has at times been the highest paid entertainer in the world, scooping in $20-$30 million per film at the height of his career, with credits such as The 6th Day, Jingle All The Way and The Terminator on his IMDB.

In addition to being named back to back ‘Mr Universe’ during his bodybuilding days in 1967 and 1968, Arnie also set about ‘building’ a real estate portfolio in his 20s and became a millionaire at the age of 25 due to his investments.

It must be noted that Arnie, who gained a Bachelor’s degree, refused his $187,000 salary as California’s governor and instead used it for a good cause, so this did not add to his mega net worth.

Therefore, if you consider his film salaries, book rights and all of the other jobs he has undertaken including his real estate which is worth $100-$200 million alone, Arnie’s net worth is approximately $450 million.

Why are people wanting to cancel Netflix?

Searches for users wanting to cancel the streaming service have skyrocketed in the past day after Netflix rolled out its plans to crack down on password sharing.

According to analysis of Google search data, there has been over 30 times the average volume of queries, nay 2,939%, since Netflix started emailing consumers who were found to share their log in details with people outside of their household.

This counts for roughly a quarter of Netflix’s 15 million UK subscribers, per research firm Digital-i via the Guardian.

While the password sharing plans have prompted a rise in searches such as ‘Cancel Netflix’, ‘delete Netflix’ and ‘cancel Netflix subscriptions’, the streaming giant’s scheme to increase subs by adding a £4.99 charge to share an account with someone outside of your home has only added fuel to the fire.

The CEO of KingCasinoBonus, who has also looked into the rise of demand to cancel Netflix subscriptions, said:

“Netflix’s plan to target password-sharing users is aimed at encouraging more people to subscribe. However, users appear to have been turned off by this move. These findings show a staggering rise in Netflix users looking to cancel their accounts. As the cost of living crisis continues to hit UK households, this change may encourage users to switch off for good”.
