These are the ten Christmas chocolates the nation misses the most - from Toblerone to Turkish Delight
These are the forgotten sharing chocolates that people would most like to see returned to Heroes, Roses, Quality Street and Celebrations tubs
People are still getting used to the idea that there won’t be a coconut treat in their Celebrations tub this Christmas as Mars Wrigley have taken Bounty out of their festive sharing tubs. It’s not, however, the first time thats chocolate companies have made changes to their must have Christmas multi-choice tins.
Whether you prefer Heroes, Roses, Celebrations or Quality Street, or you like to sample delights from all four tins, you will have noticed that at various points over the last two decades there have been some changes to exactly which chocolate minis you can enjoy.
With this in mind, the team at Betway has looked back on all the sweet treats that have been removed from festive confectionery tubs over the years, and using search volume data, have determined which chocolates are most missed by the UK public.

5. Turkish Delight Mini
Another treat that people may have forgotten was once part of our festive confectionery tubs is Turkish Delight. It featured in the Roses tub for some time, but like the recently rejected Bounty, the Turkish Delight was a real love-it-or-hate-it sweet. While 5,400 people a month search for it some people clearly didn’t like the unique rose-flavoured chocolate.

6. Time Out Mini
Another sorely missed Heroes option is the classic Time Out bar, which contains layers of wafer and rippled chocolate dipped in smooth Cadbury’s chocolate. The treat was taken out of the tub back in 2007, and then Cadburys sparked chocolate controversy in 2016 when it was suggested that it may discontinue the chocolate bar for good. A total of 4,600 people still search for it each month though so it’s a good job they didn’t. It could be time to bring it back to our sharing tubs in mini form.

7. Topic Mini
Celebrations have barely made any changes to its lineup of chocolates over the years, but they shocked fans in 2022 by removing the Bounty bar. The Topic bar was the first Celebrations treat to be removed, however, back in 2006 - and it looks like 4,600 people a month may welcome the comeback of the nutty treat.

8. Picnic Mini
Cadbury’s Picnic, with wafer, caramel, peanuts and dried fruit all crammed together in one chocolate bar, offered a diverse range of flavours and textures. It also proved to be too divisive for chocolate fans to keep its place in the Heroes tub and was removed in 2007. A total of 4,500 searches are still made for it every month though so some people may like it back.
