Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have shared the first photos of their wedding on Instagram.

The couple said ‘I do’ at a lavish ceremony on Saturday 9 April at Peltz’s familly Palm Springs mansion, and the bride wore a bespoke dress designed by Valentino.

They made an exclusive deal with Vogue for access to their big day, but shared some of their favourite images on their personal social media pages hours after they exchanged vows.

Who are Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz?

Brooklyn Beckham, aged 23, is the eldest son of one of the country’s best loved celebrity couples, David and Victoria Beckham.

David Beckham is a former footballer, while his wife is most famous for being a member of the Spice Girls and is also a fashion designer.

Brooklyn, who was born on 4 March 1999 in Westminster, London, is currently working as a chef, and has previously been a model and photographer.

Nicola Peltz, aged 27, is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner.

Nelson Peltz is chairman of The Wendy’s Company, and is said to be worth around £1.2billion or £1.3billion.

Nicola, who was  born on 9 January 1995 in Westchester County, New York,  is an actress, producer and writer.

She is best known for roles on the small and big screen, such as TV series Bates Motel (2013 to 2015)  and the 2014 film Transformers: Age of Extinction.

What photos did Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz share on social media?

The first photo Beckham and Peltz shared on their respective Instagram pages was a black and white shot of them making their debut as husband and wife at their wedding reception, with a happy-looking Beckham leading his beaming bride through the party.

Confirming that they have chosen to double barrel their surnames, they both captioned the image “Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham”.

The couple also shared photos of themselves with their family members.

Beckham shared a photo of him with his dad David and brothers Romeo, aged 19, and Cruz, aged 17, in their suits, along with the caption “The boys”.

David Beckham also shared the same image to his personal Instagram page with the caption: “My beautiful boys & a very proud dad.. Congratulations Bust on a lifetime of happiness, we will always be by your side @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham we love you @victoriabeckham.

In another post, David Beckham also welcomed Peltz to the family.

Peltz shared a photo of her with her own father Nelson, holding his hand.

She captioned the image “Thank you for the most beautiful weekend of my life. You’re the wind beneath my wings.”

What wedding dress did Nicola Peltz wear?

In another post on her Instagram page, Peltz revealed her bespoke elegant couture Valentino wedding dress, declaring it to be her “dream” gown.

She captioned the image “my dream dress thank you @lesliefremar @maisonvalentino“.

The structured gown had a long, full train, and was worn along with long lace gloves and a traditonal flowing lace veil.

Beckham shared the same image along with the caption “My beautiful bride”.

In an interview with CR Fashion Book in November, Peltz confirmed her dress would be a bespoke Valentino bridal gown and she had been working closely with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

She said: “We’ve been to Rome twice, watching everyone in the atelier, they’re just so talented. It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of, and it’s very exciting.”

She also revealed she didn’t have a dream dress in mind before the design process began.

“I have not thought of a specific dress that I want to get married in. So actually finding what that is with Valentino has been really amazing.

“The creative process has been fun, like finding the perfect fit and fabric.”

The bespoke bridal gown was not be the only one worn by Peltz on her special day.

She confirmed that, at the time of the interview, she was working with the house to create other dresses for the occasion, but no photos of any other dresses have yet been shared.

How long have Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz been together?

The couple are believed to have started dating in 2019.

They revealed in an interview with Vogue that they met five years ago and were friends for a few years before their relationship became romantic.

Beckham announced his engagement to Peltz in July 2020 via a post on his official Instagram page.

Alongside a photo of them embracing he wrote “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx

“I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day.  I love you baby xx”

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding was on Saturday 9 April.

The pair were both brought up with Jewish influences in their households, and so their nuptials were Jewish.

It took place at one of Peltz’s family mansions in Palm Springs, Florida, and will reportedly cost around £3million.

The Palm Springs mansion is rumoured to be a sprawling 44,000 square foot home with 27 bedrooms, worth around £76 million.

It is said to be a Regency-style oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Who attended the wedding?

The Peltz Beckham wedding was attended by a host of famous faces, including Victoria Beckham’s Spice Girls bandmates Mel C and Mel B. The two other members, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton were unable to attend.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay also attended the big day with his wife Tana and children Tilly and Megan, along with tennis champion Serena Williams.

There were rumours that royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may attend, but these proved to be untrue.
