Meyer is a screenwriter, best known for writing the Netflix film Moxie which was directed by Amy Poehler, and writing episodes of the TV series Miss 2059.

She also co-wrote the 2016 Netflix film XOXO starring Sarah Hyland from Modern Family.

Meyer also has a few acting credits under her belt as well, for short films including The Death and Return of Superman and Wrestling Isn’t Wrestling.

Meyer is currently 34 years old, and will be turning 35 in December.

Not much is known about the personal life of the screenwriter, however she is active on Instagram (@spillzdylz) where she posts pictures of herself (and occasionally Stewart), scenic outdoorsy shots and her cats.

In April, Meyer posted a picture to celebrate Stewart’s birthday, writing: “Life sure is sweeter with this cute little family. Happy birthday, kiddo. You knock my socks off.”

How long have Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer been together?

While the two initially met in 2013 on the set of a film, it wasn’t until they met again at a friend’s birthday party six years later in 2019 that they first started dating.

Talking to Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show, she said: “The day that I met her, it was like all bets were off.

“I met her years ago on a movie and I hadn’t seen her in six years, and then she rocked up at a friend’s birthday party, and I was like, “Where have you been, and how have I not known you?” She’s been living in LA alongside my life somehow but not ever converging."

Meyer confirmed their relationship online in October of 2019 with a photo of a polaroid picture of them kissing, with the caption: “Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police.”

Stewart said that it only took her two weeks of dating to drop the L-bomb.

She told Stern: “The first time I told her I loved her, it was really late and we were in some s***ty bar. Her friends were there or whatever, and they walked out and I was just like, “Oh, man, I’m so f**king in love with you.” Like, done.”

When did they get engaged?

While no specific date of when the pair got engaged has been revealed, Stewart confirmed the news on Stern’s radio show, saying: “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it.

“I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”

Discussing the proposal itself, Stewart said: “I wasn’t specific at all. It’s not a given that I would be the one.

“You know what I mean? With two girls, you never know like who’s going to fulfil what weird f**king gender role thing.

“We don’t do that or think about it in those terms. She just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f**king so cute.”

In regards to the wedding, Stewart said she wanted it to be held in LA “so everyone can come” and that she wants it to be “pretty chill”.

“I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. We’re just going to like stand and do vows and f**king party after. It’s kind of just a great excuse to get together and say “I love you” in front of all your friends,” she said.

While the two have only recently announced their engagement, Stewart had actually talked about proposing herself in 2019, again in an interview with Stern.

At the time she said: “I can’t say right now because she’ll find out. I have a couple of plans that are just the coolest things to do that I don’t think… I think it’s pretty undeniable.”

Was Kristen Stewart ever engaged to Robert Pattinson?

Stewart and Pattinson famously started dating as they co-starred in the Twilight films together, and they dated for three years before splitting up in 2012.

Speaking to Stern, Stewart said that Pattinson was her “first love”.

When asked if Pattinson had ever asked her to marry him, she replied: “No - but I wanted to.”

She explained that she felt very seriously about the relationship, and added that she has thought about marrying almost everyone she has dated.

Stewart said: “I’m not a super duper traditionalist, but at the same time like, yeah.

“Every relationship I’ve ever been in, I thought that was it. I’ve never like casually - maybe one or two, okay, I’m not giving everyone that due. I’ve never really been the most casual person.”

Stewart has also dated the likes of Hollywood visual effects producer Alicia Cargile, musician SoKo, model Stella Maxwell and stylist Sara Dinkin in the past.
