Peter Andre takes his children to pay tribute to late Queen

Peter Andre took his wife and four children to London yesterday to lay touching tributes to the late QueenElizabeth II.

The 49-year-old showed his Instagram followers the plethora of flowers and cards left by the public since the announcement of The Queen’s death on Thursday, 8 September.

The Mysterious Girl singer, who is from Harrow, also posted a series of photos of his children at the capital’s Green Park, with the caption “paying our respects”.

In the photos, his 1.8 million followers can see Amelia, 8, and Theo, 5, leave handwritten notes alongside a mass of floral tributes.

Amelia’s note read: “Thank you for being such a lovely queen. I was so sad to hear the news.

“Me and my family will miss you. Best Wishes. Amelia Andrea.”

Whilst the youngest child’s note simply read: “Dear Queen Elizabeth. I love you. Love Theo.”

Peter’s wife Emily, 33, also posted the notes from her two children on Instagram, as she described the atmosphere as “moving” to her 453k followers.

She wrote: “It was so lovely and very moving reading so many tributes at Green Park with the kids this afternoon. So much love for a truly amazing lady.”

Junior, 17, and Princess, 15 - who Peter shares with ex-wife Katie Price - were also at the park near Buckingham Palace paying their respects.

The Mysterious Girl singer had previously paid tribute to Her Majesty on Instagram, following the announcement of her death.

He posted a black and white image of young Queen Elizabeth II with the caption: “Like many we feel so so sad about this. It has made us very emotional. Very surreal. Wow.

“Longest reigning monarch in British history. A true leader. Our queen, but also a mother, grandmother and wife. May she rest in peace with her beloved husband.”

Peter started his career in Australia and was a singer in the 1990’s, famed for songs such as Mysterious Girl, Flava and Gimme Little Sign.

However in 2004, he appeared on the third series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! where he met glamour model Katie Price.

The pair got married two years after the finale and subsequently had two children, Junior and Princess. Peter also became a step-father to Katie’s son, Harvey.

During their relationship, they had their own ITV show and multiple spin-offs which followed their lives, until they got a divorce in 2009.

In 2012, Peter met Doctor Emily MacDonagh and they got married three years later in Mamhead House in Exeter.

He and Emily now have two children, Amelia and Theo, who are often kept out of the public eye.

In 2015, he came seventh in the 13th series of Strictly Come Dancing, alongside American professional Janette Manrara.
