Simon Cowell has reportedly signed a massive deal worth £90million after securing a franchise deal.
The TV personality, 62, who lives in Los Angeles, is the head of the Got Talent television franchise which has offshoots such as Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) and America’s Got Talent.

He is said to have signed a deal that will enable the Got Talent shows to continue to air in the 69 countries that they are already established in.
According to The Sun, Simon may have been working on this massive deal for two years.


The publication claims a large investment bank are putting up the cash to help Syco Entertainment keep the Got Talent franchise going.
The Sun wrote: “The complex deal with Syco Entertainment, which took two years to complete, is the first of its kind.

“I can reveal that the record exec has pocketed another £90 million cash in a deal to secure the future of his hugely successful Got Talent franchise worldwide.”
Simon already has an estimated net worth of £390 million which he has accumulated over his long television career.


He started out as a record producer in the 80s but became a public name in 2001, when he was a judge on the TV show Pop Idol.
Since then he has developed The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and American Idol to name just a few.

He is known for being blunt and honest as his role as TV judge across multiple shows and thanks to this new deal he will continue to appear on British TV.


Simon is engaged to Lauren Silverman, 45, who he began dating in 2013.
The couple share an eight-year-old child, Eric, who is one of the reasons that Simon wants to continue to grow his empire.
Simon told Extra: “I actually think [Eric’s] probably the best incentive I’ve ever had to keep everything running as well as I possibly can over the next few years.”
