At 9.15am on 5th July 2023, Carrie Johnson gave birth to her third child with former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. The couple have two other children, their oldest son Wilfred was born in April 2020 whilst their daughter Romy was born in December 2021.

Carrie Johnson, who revealed that she was eight months pregnant on Instagram in May 2023, also announced the news of the birth on the social media platform. She showed a photograph of herself cradling Frank whilst lying on a bed. The caption read: “A week of Frankie followed by a heart emoji”

In the Instagram post, Carrie went on to say in brackets “Can you guess which name my husband chose?!). She then continued by saying “Am loving every minute of the sleepy baby bubble.

"Seeing my older two embrace their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful thing to see. We are all very smitten.”

The child has been named Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson.

Carrie Johnson also thanked the NHS maternity team at UCLH in her Instagram post and said that “They really are the most amazing, caring people. I feel such immense gratitude.”

Her final line was to ask anyone to recommend any good series/box sets to binge whilst she was breastfeeding. She has so far received 255 comments from people offering their congratulations.
