Fuel tanker catches fire and causes huge explosion in China

The incident took place in Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan Province, at 10pm on October 12. Videos show a small fuel vehicle parked in an open area of Longqiao Community in Chengdu's Shuangliu District as it exploded.
The explosion caused a huge mushroom-shaped fire cloud to erupt into the sky. Emergency services, including firefighters, responded promptly and controlled the fire by approximately 10.30pm.

Hide AdThere were no reported injuries, and the cause of the explosion is currently under investigation. The videos gained widespread attention on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.
A user called '4mw4' commented: "No casualties, but still scary."
Another called 'Uncle' commented: "Do ordinary fuel vehicles have such great power?"
A third called 'Good Life' commented: "Much more powerful than Russia's large missiles."
