A closer look at when Amazon’s spring sale might land, what categories are likely to be reduced and how shoppers can prepare for the biggest bargains of the season
Looking at the price trackers from last year’s event, Amazon's Spring sale is something to get excited about. Amazon Spring Deal Days took place in March last year and, while we've had no official word on whether it's taking place this year yet, it's possible we could see it kick off in a few weeks.
It’s time, then, to drill into the detail and discuss what we should expect, when we should expect it, and just how excited we should be. Here’s everything we know so far, ahead of the official announcement.
What do we know about Spring Deal Days and what will be on sale?
There's a lot we don't know about it, but there's also a lot we do know. Based on previous seasonal sales taking place in March, there's likely to be a heavy focus on garden and outdoor products. It's a key time of year to shift gardening tools, bulbs and seeds, patio furniture, storage solutions, and outdoor cooking kit.
We can be pretty confident there will also be a focus, ahead of the clocks going forward, on lighter outdoor clothing, dog walking gear, cycling accessories and e-bikes, and camping products.

Spring cleaning tech also tends to get some healthy discounts in the Spring Deal Days sale, and the brands we'll be watching this year are Shark, Dyson, Vax, Hoover, and Henry.
Don't be surprised if Amazon also drops prices on some of its own-brand products, like Ring doorbells, Blink cameras, Echo smart speakers and displays, Kindle tablets, and Fire TV tech.
You'll probably see lots of deals on Amazon Essentials, groceries will be discounted periodically, and automotive tech tends to climb the best-sellers list in spring, so look out for dashcam deals and cut-price cleaning products.

Spring is a great time for wellbeing, so expect some decent savings on fashion and beauty, health supplements, and personal care tech.
And it's obviously going to be a fine time to cash in on fitness favourites. We expect to see bargain running gear, gym equipment, swimming essentials, and fitness trackers.
How long will Spring Deal Days last?
This is another unknown, but the 2025 spring sale ran from March 25-31, so expect the deals to be live for around a week.
Each individual deal will only last as long as the stock does, though, and it's typical for Amazon to run "lightning deals" which only last a day or so.
Golden rule is, if you want it, and you can afford it, jump on it.

Do I have to be a Prime member?
As with previous years, the likelihood is that all, or at least most of the deals, will be open to everyone. Members or non-members.
Some Amazon-own deals might be better for Prime members, and delivery prices and times will vary for non-Prime members.
This could mean it's a great time to sign up to a 30-day free trial. You can do that by clicking here. There's no obligation to continue after the trial period, just remember to cancel it.
