Amazon Prime Day UK is one of the most important and popular days of the year for shoppers. Held on June 21 and 22, it’s a 48-hour event where shoppers who have signed up to Amazon’s fast delivery service Prime will get access to exclusive deals across a wide range of products, from beauty and homeware to tech.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is happening right now. It began at midnight on Monday, June 21, and will end at midnight tonight, June 22.

There are great deals to be had on a variety of products, including televisions from Panasonic to Samsung and Philips, baby products from Fisher Price to Mamas and Papas and mobile phones from iPhone to Samsung and Vodafone.

How can you spot an Amazon Prime Day deal?

Prime Day deals are coded in blue so you’ll be able to quickly spot these deals, and there will also be lightning deals for extra savings during the day. You’ll be able to grab a bargain on everything from technology, clothing and every day essentials. Don’t forget to log in early to see the best deals as stock may be limited and some products may sell out quickly, but also remember to keep checking throughout the day as new deals will be added.

You can also save £10 on Prime Day when you spend £10 with small businesses, so you’ll feel good about supporting independent businesses but you’ll also have more money in the bank.

How can you take advantage of the Prime Day deals?

To take part in Prime Day, you must have an Amazon Prime account, which costs £7.99 a month, but if you aren’t already a member then you can get a 30 day free trial.

If you are a student, you are able to sign up for a six month long free trial, after which you will have to pay £3.99 a month for your Prime account.

With an Amazon Prime account, you will be entitled to unlimited next day delivery on millions of items, as well as being granted free access to Prime Video and Amazon Music.

How often does Amazon Prime Day take place?

Amazon Prime Day was first launched in the UK six years ago. It takes place once a year. It usually takes place in the summer, either in June or July. Last year, however, it was delayed until October due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is the first year it has returned to its usual summertime slot.
