Mrs Hinch is now the face of Maybelline concealer she's 'used for donkey's years' - and it's on sale

Influencer Mrs Hinch is swapping her usual cleaning recommendations for beauty advice, as she puts the spotlight on one of her long-standing make-up favourites.

The social media star, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, is now fronting Maybelline's Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye Concealer, and it's a product she says she's been reaching for, for more than a decade. And if her enthusiasm is anything to go by, it's easy to see why she's so keen to share it.

The product in question is a Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye Concealer Brightening Bundle, which brings together two shades of the brand's popular concealer: 01 Light and 05 Brightener.

Sharing details of her new partnership in a video on her Instagram Stories, Mrs Hinch said: "I don't need to launch these, because let's be real everyone knows about them. I've been using these for over 10 years now."

She went on to explain exactly how she uses the two shades together, showing the application technique that helps her achieve a brighter-looking under-eye area.

"I have my own little bundle where you have the 01 light that I have used for donkey's years, but you also get the one that is the brightener," she explained.

Her trick is to apply one small circle of the Brightener shade to the inner corner of each eye, followed by two little dots of the 01 Light shade towards the outer corner. She then blends everything together using a make-up sponge applicator.

Mrs Hinch said: "I love the sponge applicator, it just gives you the right amount. You literally just blend it out and it brightens but what I love is that it also covers those darker circles."

It's this combination of brightening and coverage that seems to have made the concealer such a permanent fixture in her make-up bag.

Recommending it to her followers, she finished the video by saying: "It's just the best. If you are looking for something that will never let you down under eye, it's these."
