Primark shoppers could soon be able to have their favourite high street buys delivered straight to their door after the retailer confirmed plans to launch home delivery after years of being asked for it.

Primark shoppers could soon have a brand new way to buy their favourite pieces, with the retailer finally confirming plans to introduce home delivery.

The popular high street retailer has been steadily expanding its online offering in recent years, including the launch of Click and Collect three years ago, but customers have still been unable to order Primark products online and have them delivered to their door. This is something they have been asking for, for years.

And now it seems Primark has finally said yes, as the brand’s owner Associated British Foods (ABF) has announced plans to introduce home delivery across England, Scotland and Wales.

But, shoppers hoping to go online and place their first online may still be a little disappointed as Primark has not revealed exactly when home delivery will launch.

ABF said the service would be introduced “in the future”, meaning there is currently no confirmed launch date, or even any idea of when it will be. However, the announcement is still a significant step for a retailer that has traditionally focused on its network of physical stores.

The move is being supported by a major new warehouse in Sheffield, which ABF has acquired from the Debenhams Group in a £90 million deal. The highly automated site is expected to support Primark's plans to grow its digital operation.

When it does come, home delivery will make it much easier to buy Primark pieces without having to make a trip to the high street. But, the next question of the lips of fans is now ‘when is Primark’s home delivery service launching?’

TOG24

☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.

💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.

⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
