Anyone buying an eligible printer this autumn could postpone the cost of replacement ink, although a short registration window makes the offer surprisingly easy to miss.
Anyone buying a new printer this autumn has a simple way to delay one of the most painful parts of ownership - paying for replacement ink.
HP is currently offering new customers an additional three months of Instant Ink free when they purchase an eligible printer, and the offer is even open to HP printer owners who do not currently subscribe to the service.
The extra trial period is added to any free Instant Ink months already supplied with the printer, potentially leaving customers covered for considerably longer than the headline offer initially suggests.
To qualify, customers must purchase an eligible HP printer between August 1 and October 31, 2026. They then have to register for HP Instant Ink within seven days of installing it.

During registration, customers must enter the promotional code SUMMER26UKI in the “Promotional or PIN code” field to activate the offer.
HP says all pages printed during the trial months are included, regardless of which monthly page plan has been selected.
That might include university work, school projects, Christmas crafts, family photographs or the peculiar avalanche of forms that appears whenever someone moves house.
Instant Ink works differently from buying conventional replacement cartridges. Customers choose a monthly plan based on the number of pages they normally print, while the compatible printer monitors its ink levels through its internet connection. HP then sends replacement cartridges automatically when the printer is running low, rather than waiting for the customer to order them. Delivery and cartridge recycling are included.

Current plans begin at £1.79 per month for 10 pages and rise through several tiers to £28.99 for 700 pages. Unused pages can also roll over after the paid subscription begins, subject to a limit of three times the monthly allowance. A customer on the 50-page plan, for example, can build a rollover balance of up to 150 pages.
The scheme is flexible, with subscribers able to change or cancel their plan without an additional cancellation fee. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades and cancellations begin after the current billing period.

☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.
💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.
⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
