Chelsea are set to swiftly return to action this weekend as they host Crystal Palace. The Blues have now won only one of their last ten matches in the Premier League following Thursday’s 2-1 defeat to Fulham.

Despite the excitement of signing Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid this week, the young forward will be forced to sit out of the clash with Palace after he was shown a straight red card on his debut against Marco Silva’s side. However, Graham Potter’ men will still be desperate to pick up all three points as they sit ten adrift from the top four.

Meanwhile, the Eagles sit only three points below their London rivals, though they have struggled with consistency this season - winning two of their previous five matches. Patrick Vieira’s side head into this weekend’s match off the back of a 4-0 thrashing by Tottenham Hotspur, as well as a narrow defeat to Southampton in the FA Cup. A win over Chelsea could see them move back into the top half of the table.
