FIFA 23 player ratings: how Tottenham, Liverpool and Man City stars rate ahead of UK release date

EA Sports have revealed the top 23 highest-rated players on FIFA 23 - due to be released at the end of September.

With only a matter of weeks to go before the highly anticipated FIFA 23 game is released, EA Sports have now revealed the top 23 rated players in this year’s edition.

FIFA has been dominating the gaming community for decades and continues to lure football fans in with their various different modes, as well as options to play against friends and people all across the world.

The likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been top class staples in the video game for so long, but FIFA ratings are now becoming more of a talking point as other stars take over the veteran duo to claim the limelight.

Recent success of the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City has meant Premier League clubs dominate the top end of the latest FIFA player ratings, with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne among the games’ elite.

Indeed, almost half of the top 23 players in this year’s game are from the English top tier, with world class talents such as Erling Haaland and Casemiro having completed summer moves to the Premier League.

While Messi was the highest rated player on FIFA 22 (93), he has now dropped down two ratings but still remains joint-top with Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski, Kylian Mbappe and De Bruyne.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s disappointing first season back with Man Utd has seen him slip down the ratings - despite finishing the campaign as the third top goalscorer in the Premier League.

Courtois has now been labelled the best goalkeeper in the game - ranked higher than the likes of Neuer, Alisson and Oblak, with the latter previously topping the ratings in that position.

Finally, it is Benzema that has enjoyed the biggest increase as he has rocketed to the highest rated player on FIFA.

The Frenchman enjoyed a brilliant season last time out as he scored 44 goals in 46 matches.
