Manchester United injury news ahead of Brentford game as five out and five doubtful
Manchester United’s game against Brentford in the Premier League at the weekend could prove to be a crucial one, as pressure on head coach Erik ten Hag continues to mount.
United have a number of injuries ahead of the game - five players have been ruled out of the fixture, with an additional quintet being considered injury doubts.

The last time the two teams met back in March, United scored late on and looked to have sealed a 1-0 victory over Brentford - however, the Bees equalised just three minutes later to rescue a point.

As mentioned, United have five players who have been ruled out with injury - they are Noussair Mazraoui, Tyrell Malacia, Leny Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire. Of these five, Maguire and Mazraoui are the latest additions to the Red Devils’ treatment table.

Hide AdLuke Shaw is nearing a return to action, but the likelihood is that he will not be available for selection on Saturday. The same can be said for Manuel Ugarte, who does not have a set return date as yet.
Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo could both play in the game on Saturday. Garnacho had been ruled out with a knee problem, while Diallo had been suffering with an illness. Mason Mount may also play a part against Brentford, following his head injury that had previously ruled him out.
