As Harry Kane could be heading to Bayern Munich, will he and wife Katie live in Grünwald?

Although Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Harry Kane, it is still not known if the England captain will decide to leave Tottenham Hotspur for the German team. However, if the family do decide to make the move, the likely place they will be considering making home is Grünwald.

The Sun reported in July that “Bild have claimed his partner has already been looking at properties in Munich. They state that his childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland, who he married in 2019, and other members of his family have been in Munich over the past few days to explore international schools and properties in the district of Grünwald in Bavaria.”

It has also been reported that Bayern Munich has already found a home in the area for Harry Kane and his family to live in, and he will be in good company. Former Manchester City player Leroy Sané lives there, as well as former Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. 

According to the website of property company Riedel, “Grünwald-that is a very special place, just beyond the southern Munich city limits. Business managers, successful entrepreneurs and stars from film and television reside here in a density that is unique in Germany.”

Riedel goes on to say that “Because a property in Grünwald usually means a striking architect’s house, a stately home or-particularly often- a stately villa. characteristic for Grünwald are also the usually extremely generous dimensions of houses as well as plots of land.”

Harry and his wife Katie share three children together, daughters Ivy and Vivienne Jane and son Louis. If Harry Kane does decide to make the move to Bayern Munich along with his family, they will of course have to find a primary school suitable for his oldest daughter Ivy and possible preschools. There seem to be plenty of International schools for the Kanes to choose from, including the International Preschool Munich that is situated in the area of Grünwald.

In March 2023, Harry and Katie revealed that they are expecting their fourth child together. Harry shared the news on his Instagram and said: "Over the moon to be expecting baby No.4! Coming soon..." followed by a heart emoji.
