The Super Bowl LVI halftime show saw Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar perform, among others

The 2022 Superbowl featured the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams following their late comebacks in last month’s matches against the Chiefs and 49ers respectively.

For UK fans, the Super Bowl kicked off at 11:30pm and will ran into the early hours of Monday morning.

The Super Bowl half-time show is always one of the most highly anticipated parts of the event, with previous years seeing the likes of Shakira, Bruno Mars and Beyonce performing.

This year is equally as exciting and fans are even more thrilled to see who will be performing.

Who performed at the 2022 Super Bowl?

Five music legends took to the stage at the 2022 Super Bowl.

R&B singer Mary J. Blige joined rappers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar at the SoFi Stadium.

The ‘Family Affair’ star is the only one of the artists who has previously performed at the Super Bowl, making an appearance at the 2001 show.

The five performers have a total of 43 Grammys and 21 Billboard No. 1 albums.

The Super Bowl halftime show started shortly after 1am GMT.

The first half is due to begin at 11:30pm UK time and lasted around 90 minutes.

How long is the Super Bowl 2022 halftime show?

The Super Bowl halftime show usually lasts between 20 and 30 minutes - twice as long as a normal NFL game.

The musical act usually lasts around 12-14 minutes during the break.
