Last weekend, Wales took on Fiji at the Principality stadium and were eventually able to beat the Fijians with Liam Williams’ final try in the 81st minute.

At half-time, the scores read 14-13 and for much of the second half Fiji were able to keep up with the 2021 Six Nation winners, but Wales continued fighting up until the very last moment and were able to take the win.

This was Wales first win in the Autumn Nation series having previously lost to both the All Blacks and the Springboks.

New Zealand thumped Wales in October, scoring 54 points to Wales’ 16. Against South Africa, Wales put up a stronger fight but eventually lost to the World Champions 18-23 thanks to a last minute try from South Africa’s Frans Steyn.

Australia have also enjoyed a mixed bag of success in the Autumn Series. The Wallabies have not yet won an Autumn Nation series match and their last win came in the Rugby Championship when they beat Argentina 32-17.

An exceptionally close game at Murrayfield saw Scotland come out on top with 15 points to the Wallabies’ 13.

Australia then travelled to Twickenham where they made too many mistakes against Eddie Jones’ side and it is likely that had the Wallabies been able to tighten their game, far fewer penalties would have been awarded and a much closer game would have been had.

Now Australia will take on the final British side in what looks to be an exciting game where both sides will be absolutely desperate for the win. Wales will look to end their Autumn Nation series with victory, while Australia are still searching for their first in their campaign.
