England have been out in Oman preparing for the World Cup since 5 October however captain Eoin Morgan and all-rounder Moeen Ali have only just joined them due to their Indian Premier League commitments.

Morgan had been captaining the IPL runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders while Moeen Ali became the first English player to win the Trophy as his unbeaten 37 runs off 20 helped Chennai Super Kings to lift the biggest domestic Twenty20 tournament in the world.

Moeen Ali’s recent form in T20 with CSK will not go unnoticed and will be invaluable if England hope to lift the trophy on 14 November 2021.
