Elizabeth Line: Severe delays between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals, Reading after 'late finish of engineering'

The Elizabeth Line is seeing severe delays after a “late finish of engineering work”. Transport for London (TfL) says on its website: “Severe delays between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals/Reading due to a late finish of engineering works.

“Tickets will be accepted on London Underground services. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.”

If you are travelling to Heathrow Airport via the Elizabeth Line it would be advised to take plenty of time this morning. Elsewhere, there are minor delays on the Central line.

This is due to train cancellations. TfL says on the Central line: “Minor delays due to train cancellations.”
