Fog warning: Flights cancelled at UK airports including Heathrow and East Midlands as Met Office issues weather warning - full list affected flights

The Met Office warned that the fog is “likely to persist in a corridor from southwest England through the rest of the Midlands to Lincolnshire and Yorkshire until late morning.” The fog this morning (Thursday 16 January) is affecting regions including the East Midlands, London and South East England, South West England, West Midlands and Yorkshire and Humber.
Heathrow Airport has one delayed and one cancelled flight this morning (Thursday 16 January), while Gatwick Airport has several arrival flights that are delayed. Airports including Bristol and Leeds are also seeing cancellations this morning.

Be prepared for weather warnings to change: when a weather warning is issued, the Met Office recommends staying up to date with the weather forecast in your area.”
