10 most shocking royal scandals of the past decade as Kate and William celebrate their 10th anniversary
It’s been 10 years since Prince William married Catherine Middleton, and there has been no shortage of drama surrounding the royals since.
From Prince Andrew’s links to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal to Harry and Meghan’s incendiary interview with Oprah, the royal family have made the headlines many times in the past decade, while William and Kate have managed to stay more or less out of the limelight.
Here we look back at the most shocking royal scandals of the past decade as the future king and queen celebrate their 10th anniversary.

1. 2012: Prince Harry gets naked at a private party in Las Vegas, and someone leaks the photos to The Sun.
The Royal family warned The Sun not to publish the photos, but the tabloid did so anyway, claiming it was in the public’s interest. At the time, Saint James’ palace said: “We have made our views on Prince Harry's privacy known. Newspapers regulate themselves, so the publication of the photographs is ultimately a decision for editors to make. "We have no further comment to make either on the publication of the photographs or on the story itself concerning Prince Harry's private holiday in Las Vegas." Photo: AFP

2. 2012: Prince Andrew faces criticism over his seedy relationship with convicted paedophile and sex trafficer, Jeffrey Epstein.
Prince Andrew served as the UK's trade envoy from 2001 through 2011, but resigned from the role after Jeffrey Epstein’s sex offences came to public attention. Prince Andrew had allegedly frequented the same parties as Epstein, visited his island and he was also reportedly friends with Epstein’s associate, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. 3. 2018: Meghan’s dad stages photos for US paparazzi, weeks before he is due to attend her wedding. She walks herself down the aisle at her wedding
Meghan wrote a letter to her dad where she explained how disappointed and hurt she was by his actions. The private letter was then leaked to Mail on Sunday and Mail Online and published in February 2019. She has since won a civil court case against ANL, the publisher of both papers, for invasion of privacy. Photo: Daily Mail

4. 2019: Prince Philip, aged 97 at the time, voluntarily waves goodbye to his driving licence after he accidentally collides with another car, injuring the passenger of the other vehicle.
The late Duke of Edinburgh said he was dazzled by low sunlight as he pulled out onto a busy road in Norfolk. His Land Rover Freelander collided with a Kia, which contained a mother, her nine-month old baby and passenger Emma Fairweather. Prince Philip’s vehicle flipped over and he was rescued by a passing motorist. Hewas unhurt but both women required hospital treatment and Fairweather, who broke her wrist in the collision, called for the Prince to be prosecuted. He apologised, saying he was “very sorry” and wished her a speedy recovery. Photo: Scott Campbell
