Johansson has described the film as a “family drama”, as it sees the Avenger reunite with several important characters from her upbringing.

Florence Pugh agreed with the family drama sentiment, telling IGN that “it’s … about our family and where we came from and how we are broken and how we fix it.”

She added: “They’re like this big, bonkers, mad, loud Russian family. And they have a lot of love for each other.”
