It will perhaps come as little surprise Amazon’s best-selling book of 2023 has been revealed to be Prince Harry’s Spare. The bombshell memoir detailing the life of the Duke of Sussex and ghostwritten by J R Moehringer, was released on January 10, hitting the headlines time and again for it's explosive revelations.
Harry’s autobiography wasn't the only big name making the best-sellers list this year though, with The Woman in Me by Britney Spears making the top ten, and Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing by Matthew Perry sitting just outside the top twenty. Cookery books were also popular with Nathan Anthoby's Bored of Lunch: The Healthy Slow Cooker Book and Bored of Lunch: The Healthy Air Fryer both making it into the top 10 along with Pinch of Nom Enjoy by Kate Allinson.
The public's enjoyment of Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club series also shows no signs of abating either with the forth instalment, The Last Devil To Die, making it into fifth. Read on for the complete top 10 list of best-selling books in 2023 according to Amazon.

9. The Woman in Me by Britney Spears
Pop princess Britney Spear's tell-all memoir proved to be an unexpected hit with critics, but was a less pleasant read for her celebrity exes, including Justin Timberlake. "Written with remarkable candour and humour, Spears’s ground-breaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love - and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last." | Contributed

10. Atomic Habits by James Clear
Completing the top 10 is James Clear's self-help book promising "an easy and proven way to build good habits and break bad ones". | Contributed
