Katie Thistleton, aged 35, has revealed she was left in agonising pain shortly after she welcomed baby Reuben - and doctors then discovered a cyst on her ovary which she has now had surgery for.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the new mum explained what happened to her, and the procedure she has had, in more detail: “So l'm 6 weeks postpartum today and was so excited to be officially recovered from c section and drive again etc but ended up having emergency surgery on my ovary a couple of days ago for a 16cm (huge) cyst that had twisted the ovary and tube.”

The star said that she is now now back home with her family recovering, adding “big up the surgeons” and sharing an adorable video of baby Reuben in his cot.
She later returned to her Instagram Stories to thank her fans for all their well-wishes, which she said she was reading during night feeds.

Kate welcomed her son Reuben in March and shared the happy news with her 66,000 followers, writing: "Reuben Alexander Harris was born on the 6th March and he is THE CUTEST THING EVER. The love I feel for my incredible husband and this little tiny person we’ve made is almost too much for me to bear.
