Singer Britney Spears has downplayed reports that she and boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz fought at the Chateau Marmont hotel in LA, labelling the reports “fake news”.
The ‘Toxic’ chart-topper was pictured by paparazzi outside the famous hotel walking barefoot while clutching a pillow and a blanket on May 2. She appeared to be escorted out by paramedics, prompting fears for her health and safety. She was allegedly looked over by medical staff but was not transported from the hotel.

She said: “Just to let people know... the news is fake! I [twisted] my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally,” she added. “They never came into my room but I felt completly [sic] harassed. I’m moving to Boston! Peace.”
In a follow-up post, she said that she injured her ankle while trying to do “a leap” in her hotel room. She also shared a video of her swollen ankle.
Spears said: “I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot. It’s so bad. F***ing idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room at the Chateau and I fell, embarrassed myself, and that’s it. Paramedics came to my door illegally, of course causes this huge scene, and all I needed was ice.” The incident came just hours after the singer’s divorce to ex-husband Sam Asghar was officially filed. The pair, who married in a star-studded June 2022 ceremony, announced their separation in July 2023. Court documents filed on Thursday (May 2) showed little detail but did divulge that no future spousal support would be received by either party.
