In a bid to fend off a coming ‘apocalypse’, billionaire Elon Musk proposed having more children to “reach legion-level”, according to an influencer who also claims to be the mother of his child.

Elon Musk - the world’s richest man - wants a ‘legion’ of children in a bid to fend off a coming ‘apocalypse’, according to influencer and journalist Ashley St Clair, who is herself in the process of proving her child was fathered by the billionaire.

St Clair gave birth to a son in February 2025 and claims Tesla and Space X chief Musk suggested, during their relationship, they hire surrogates to speed up the process of them adding even more children to their brood. Musk alone is believed to be a parent to around 14 children with four women.

The Wall Street Journal has reported on text messages between Musk and St Clair which said the 53-year-old proposed having more children to “reach legion-level before the apocalypse”, adding, "We will need to use surrogates”.

Ashley claims Musk recruits "candidates" for motherhood of his children through his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) before issuing them with NDAs (non-disclosure agreements).

In another text message, the WSJ reported, Musk had a meeting in Austin, Texas, where "Japanese officials asked him to be a sperm donor for a high-profile woman.”

He is said to have messaged Ashley: "They want me to be a sperm donor. No romance or anything, just sperm," before he later told her he “gave his sperm to the person who asked for it”, but did not name the recipient.

Responding to the article, the billionaire wrote on his social media platform X: "'TMZ WSJ"

The article also covered St Clair’s efforts to prove Musk is the dad of her newborn son. She asked him to take a paternity test - of which he "recently took" in a "battle with one woman over money and privacy" - but she had to go through his fixer, Jared Birchall, to contact him.

She said in a two-hour phone call in December 2024: “I don’t want my son to feel like he’s a secret." However, fixer Jared said Elon was a "very big-hearted, kind and generous person", but when a mom of his child goes down "the legal route" in these scenarios, “that always, always leads to a worse outcome for that woman than what it would have been otherwise.”
