Influencer Morgan Reilly speaks about health struggle which led to her being hospitalised for two months

A star has spoken candidly about needing to stay in hospital for two months, after being rushed in via an ambulance when struggling with a health condition.

TikTok star Morgan Reilly has opened up about battling with postpartum depression after giving birth to her son Grayson at the age of 19 - and how this led to her being in hospital for several weeks.

Speaking on Ami Charlize’s Private Story podcast, Reilly said when she gave birth she felt really protective over her new son.

But then, she said, she began to wonder: “How am I being left alone with this whole baby?” She added: “I would shield him [the baby] away from everyone. I didn’t let anyone touch him. It affected a lot of my relationships because people didn’t understand why I was that way.”

The mum-of-one, who is now in her early 20s, said that she didn’t understand why she was that way either. She went on: “I kind of just went nuts . . . That was the start of the decline.

She continued to say that her family tried to convince her to seek medical help. “My family kept telling me you need to go to the hospital like this isn’t right. I was like ‘no I’ll just fix it at home’,” she said.

Reilly said the day she was rushed to hospital was life-changing. “It got to a point one day I had ambulances called on me. It was really bad . . . I went that night and I was there for two months,” she revealed.

She said, however, that she is now doing well after her battle with postpartum depression. “I’m a completely different person than I was going in. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I didn’t get help. I don’t know where I’d be.”

Reilly first shot to fame on social media by posting videos of her “rage baiting” her now-ex boyfriend Paul, who is Grayson’s dad. The former couple announced their split just before Christmas.
