Love Island star Courtney Stubbs has been rushed to hospital while on holiday in Bali after suffering a “very scary health scare”.

The 26-year-old Love Island Australia star, who is travelling with her Married At First Sight star partner Jack Millar, aged 28, and their baby daughter Penelope, shared a post to her Instagram page last night (Wednesday October 16) where she revealed she had been in hospital.

“It definitely wasn't on my Bali bingo card to catch a parasite and end up in hospital. A very scary health scare for me and Jack literally saw some s**t,” she said. Alluding to the gruesome nature of her health issue, she said: “He thought labour was full on but let's say this explosion left no secrets between us hahaha. Glad to be able to laugh it off now but not being able to contact an ambulance whilst having seizures was beyond scary.

She added: “I was anxiety filled for the rest of our trip, simply eating and drinking after the experience. Having access to drinkable water and hygiene is something I have taken for granted!”

She also issued a warning for her fans: “If travelling to Bali, please know where your nearby hospital is. Also know a nearby driver who can get to you quickly and take you to hospital. The ambulances are unreliable and extremely hard to get in contact with.” This is the second dramatic incident which has happened on the couple’s family trip to Bali. Earlier this month the reality star took to Instagram to beg her followers help after she found a “badly injured” man on the side of the road. The pair discovered American tourist Nariman Vaziri in a “life or death situation” following a major car accident.

She rushed the man to hospital in critical condition, but doctor's were unable to operate on him without the permission of a family member. Stubbs uploaded a video to her Instagram asking for her 112,000 followers to help find Vaziri's family so he could receive life-saving surgery.

She said: “An emergency in Bali, we are trying to seek this gentleman's family's details. We have contacted the American consult and they are unable to contact his family. He is very badly injured, it's life or death. We have tried calling everyone.”

Stubbs later returned to Instagram to share a happy update on the situation. Thanks to her fan’s help, she had been able to find Vaziri's mother so he had received the surgery he needed and was in a stable condition.

Stubbs and Millar have been together since June 2022. The first met at Millar’s ex Domenica Calarco's Showpo fashion event. Millar and Calarco were paired together on Married at First Sight Australia 2022. The couple remained together throughout the process, but ultimately decided they were better off as friends.

Stubbs, meanwhile, was an Islander on Season 3 of Love Island Australia in 2021. She failed to find long-term love in the famous villa and was dumped from the island on day 43. The couple welcomed their daughter in November 2023. At the time, they both shared news of her birth on their respective Instagram pages. "Penelope June Millar. A love so magical words cannot describe! 10/11/23," they wrote alongside three photos of their daughter.
