"For a brief moment Gina was actually wearing the highest rock in Uluṟu," Boon joked on Instagram, sharing some photos and videos from their experience. One of the photos showed Gina grinning at the camera showing off her ring, while another showed the couple kissing next to the helicopter.
Many people took to the comments to express their congratulations. Fellow MAFS star Jack Dunkley wrote: “Two of the biggest rocks I’ll see on my instagram today. Gina is a lucky girl, bless you both.”
His wife from the show, Tori Adams said: “CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH! All the love from Jack and I.”

Speaking about his romance further, he said he felt the relationship could be long-term, and even hinted that they may become engaged during a trip to Europe. Speaking on the Back To Reality podcast about his travelling plans with Gina he said: "It feels like the last year I haven't been able to move really. I just got back from Tasmania and we're planning our next trip to Europe now. That trip to Europe could also yield a surprise."
He added: "I think she's the one, yeah. I think she's the one. So, yeah, we'll see. I’ve got lots of things on the horizon."
Boon raised plenty of eyebrows during his time on MAFS, during which he was matched with Bronte Schofield. It all began on their wedding day, when the bride was left devastated after hearing rumours that her new husband was dating someone outside of the show.

One of the many dubious things that happened between them came when Harrison and fellow groom Dan Hunjas were accused of swapping numbers with women on a boy’s night out. Boon lied to everyone and said it was Hunjas who got a number and not him, but later admitted to producers it was him who’d got the number.
When he was found out, he still refused to accept his wrong-doing and said: “I got it, deleted it as soon as she walked off. [I didn’t] see it was a big deal. I was laughing it off with my mate.” This became one of the most shocking moments in MAFS history.
Then, earlier this year, Boon came under fire again for some sexist comments he made about some of his former female MAFS co-stars who he branded as "unmarryable".

He also spoke out against Sandy Jawanda and his MAFS bride Bronte Schofield, who he also labelled as "unmarryable ".
His comments were called out by MAFS co-star Tahnee Cook, however, who defended the women on her Instagram. "Anyone that shares these same views is a misogynistic pig and you should run as far away as you can," she wrote. "The sentiment that woman are no value to men when they hit a certain age is just disgusting."
