Danny Brown UK Tour 2024: What time are doors for his Bristol show and what has been playing?

One of hip-hop’s more recent revelations, Detroit rapper Danny Brown has returned to the United Kingdom earlier this week, performing a celebrated show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London, ahead of only three other tour stops this year. 

This evening, Brown heads to Bristol’s O2 Academy, before heading to Birmingham (May 25), Manchester (May 28) and finally Glasgow (May 28 2024), once again set to stun audiences with his energetic, sometimes eccentric live performances. 

Brown came to attention after the success of his second album, “XXX,” which features tracks “Die Like A Rockstar” and “Radio Song,” which his label Fool’s Gold decided to release as a free download to further garner the attention for the artist. However the release of 2016’s “Atrocity Exhibition” with the single “Ain’t It Funny” with its music video directed by Jonah Hill propelled him further into the mainstream music consciousness.  

It helps that his live shows are part hip-hop concert, part punk gig, with fans known to engage in “mosh pits” and slamdancing during his raucous live performances. Here’s hoping that same energy comes out this evening in Bristol - we highly doubt he’ll disappoint.
