Who is clashing with who at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield and Leeds this weekend, and what’s the weather forecast saying for both areas?

Slam Dunk Festival 2024 has suddenly arrived on our doorstep this weekend, with the punk extravaganza taking place at Hatfield Park on May 25 2024 then makes its way back up north to Leeds’ Temple Newsam on May 26 2024.

No doubt for many attendees, the talking point this year is You Me At Six headlining the festival, which is set to be their final UK festival appearance before embarking on a world tour and then playing their final set of UK shows in 2025.

But looking over this year’s line-up, there is plenty for old and new (or “nu”) punk fans alike, with hallowed names from the scene including Pennywise, Snuff and H2O alongside more recent acts The Wonder Years, State Champs and Mallory Knox.

But if they are a little too heavy for you, The All-American Rejects and Head Automatica, the disco-punk project of Glassjaw’s Daryl Palumbo, will also be performing to add a little “pop” charm to your punk offering.

But let’s get down to brass tax: who is clashes with who, what should I not bring with me to either site for fear of it being confiscated and destroyed and is it the weather going to be kind to those punk revellers this weekend, or will it be pogoing in a poncho in the rain?
