Superstar Ricky Martin will be playing a show at the famous Hollywood Bowl.

It is one of the most iconic venues in Los Angeles.

He will be joined by the Los Angeles Philharmonic - known as the LA Phil.

When is Ricky Martin playing the Hollywood Bowl?

He will be playing two shows at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Phil.

The first is tonight (22 July) and the second is tomorrow (23 July).

What time do the concerts start?

The gates will open at 6pm both days.

The concert itself will begin at 8pm.

Where is the Hollywood Bowl?

The Hollywood Bowl is known for its distinctive bandshell.

It is an amphitheatre.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic is an orchestra based in Los Angeles, California.

It is commonly known as the LA Phil.

A philharmonic is a type of orchestra - and it will often feature over eighty musicians, perhaps even over hundred in some cases.

The actual number of musicians employed in a particular performance may vary according to the work being played and the size of the venue.

LA Phil runs a summer series at the Hollywood Bowl from July to September each year.

It was founded in 1919 by William Andrews Clark, Jr.

What are the safety rules at Hollywood Bowl?

Masks are recommended but not required at the venue.

However masks are required to be worn by everyone, 2 years of age and older, regardless of vaccination status, on all public transit, including Bowl Shuttles and Park & Ride buses.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health recommends all guests, 6 months and older, either be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 viral test prior to entry, but it is not required.
