Coronation Street hints that another villain could to return to ITV soap as Mason Radcliffe is spotted on set

Coronation Street may have accidentally revealed that evil villain Mason Radcliffe could be returning to the ITV soap. Radcliffe, played by Luca Toolan, was sent to jail earlier this year. Mason bullied Liam Connor and threatened him with a zombie knife. 

Viewers were happy he was put behind bars but now it seems he could be making a return to the cobbles. The actor, 20, has been training for the Great Manchester Run (May 26) and was recently spotted on set with his co-stars. 

In an image shared on Coronation Street’s Instagram, Luca was seen alongside Elle Mulvaney, Channique Sterling-Brown, Colson Smith and Callum Lill. The caption read: “Keep an eye out for cast members who are racing this year's Great Manchester Run. Competition is fierce so go and cheer them on! No cobbles were hurt in the making of this photo... we're not sure about any ankles.”

If Mason does return to the soap it will be the third baddie heading back to Weatherfield this year. Nathan Curtis who previously groomed Bethany Platt recently came back.  It has also been revealed that murderer Corey Brent could be returning in the upcoming storyline with Abi Webster.
