Hollyoaks actor Jeremy Sheffield will come back from the dead but not all is as it seems

Hollyoaks actors have been coming and going in recent weeks following the announcement of huge cuts to the Channel 4 soap. The latest actor to return to the soap is Jeremy Sheffield who played Patrick Blake after nine years since leaving the show.

However, in probably one of the most bizarre soap twists, Jeremy will be returning to Hollyoaks as a completely different character. The actor played Sienna Blake’s father from 2012 to 2016. In scenes airing later this month Sienna will get a huge shock when she thinks her evil father has returned from the dead.

In upcoming scenes Jeremy will return as Sienna's long lost uncle Jez who is Patrick's twin brother. Along with Jez will be Sienna’s grandmother Martha who will be played by former Coronation Street star Sherrie Hewson.

Speaking of his return to Hollyoaks Jeremy said: “I’m so excited to be back in the village and have the opportunity to play a great new character. Jez might be Patrick’s twin but he couldn’t be more different; he’s charming, enigmatic, complex and full of mystery.

“Working with the wonderful Sherrie Hewson means we get to explore even more of the famously twisted Blake family secrets.”

In one of his most famous storylines Patrick physically and mentally abused girlfriend Maxine Minniver. He was eventually killed by Nico and after Maxine found his body, she and Darren buried him in the village wall. His body was eventually discovered.
